Google now has taken the "auto-complete" concept still farther, and now the entire page of search results is automatically refreshed as you type. This is the kind of thing that wouldn't even have a prayer of working on a high-latency or low-throughput link (and it probably disables itself accordingly), but on broadband it's pretty much the stuff of legends.
I've used the in-browser Google bar for so long now that I've all but forgotten what the actual google.com page is for. I guess this is something that browsers aren't about to start integrating anytime soon.
