06:43 - You can't be "not ready" after running the thing for three years

Sweet:
An initial report from Consumerist.com, quoting an AT&T online service rep, suggested that the carrier had shut down online sales because “New York was not ready for the iPhone,” and that the city didn’t “have enough towers to handle the phone.”
Something tells me this whole AT&T/iPhone thing is going to have to come to a head pretty damn quick. I've never once seen an AT&T ad mention the iPhone among its supposedly "flagship" devices; any impartial observer would have to assume that they're either ashamed of it (makes no sense), or desperate to get people to stop buying it.
Doesn't Apple traditionally have some kind of announcement thing 'round about this time of year? Just wondering.
Via JMH and Fake Steve, where this video of what happens if you don't say "Bing" the right way in front of Ballmer is eye-opening.
