Some folks seem to be of the mind—following the official party line—that the Governator F-bomb Letter is just a wacky coincidence.
I think it’s completely legit. Without the hidden message to explain it, the missive is stilted, brief, and full of questionable vocabulary. If the governor had chosen merely to use the opportunity of a veto message to expound upon his dissatisfaction with the political process, he wouldn’t do it in a seven-line sound bite with phrases like “kick the can down the alley”. Not unless he needed a “k”.
The whole thing reads like a “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” type sentence, where the odd wording only makes sense if there’s a secondary purpose to it, e.g. making sure certain letters appear in certain spots.
If the letter hadn’t appeared on the government’s own site, I’d never have believed it was anything but a prank by a third party, because it doesn’t read like a political document at all.
