Well, the Porsche Panamera seems to be getting some rave reviews; I have yet to see one in the flesh, but if as the article says it's "not as controversial as the Cayenne was in 2003", then I guess it'll do—I mean, hey, we all got used to the Cayenne. Let's just hope they don't do a hybrid econobox next.
This just blows my mind, though:
Round. It's a round mini-nav LCD.
Somehow I think maybe they're trying too hard, desperate to establish relevance in a crowded market segment they've never played in before. And yet somehow I get the sneaking suspicion that I've seen all this before...
Still: My God that's a big car.

Also I've been bitten by the built in GPS thing, have it in my car and the updates are years slow and the interface sucks. Would have cost about 8 times less to just get a stick on and I could update the maps from the computer. I'm sure this is a terrific device, but I'm wary now.
