JMH sends this—a roundup of clever corporate logos. By no means is it exhaustive (I've seen lists like this before), but aside from the perennial favorites, like the FedEx arrow, there's quite a number of other ones I'd never have bumped into in my daily life. And I hadn't realize that the Amazon.com smile/arrow/swoosh thing was meant to be an arrow pointing from "A" to "Z". I'd only recently gotten the "smile" connotation; but now I have to winder how intentional that other aspect of it was, especially since the logo sometimes appears just as the arrow without any text...
It's always intrigued me, incidentally, how "Canada" has an official logotype—with the Canadian flag where the accent would go if you're French. (Or perhaps just if you're Spanish. For whatever sense that makes.) Kinda like what Canadian Airlines did: have to decide between an "a" or an "e"? Well, just don't!
