Damn, I hope he's not kidding. I could use me a GPS-enabled camera. Especially if they can get it so it can acquire a signal in less than the 20 seconds or so it takes an eTrex. Photography requires startup speed; dSLR makers have tied themselves in knots getting their cameras ready to shoot in a fraction of a second. I'd hate to lose all that to the necessity to wait around while it hunts for satellites.
But even if not—man, that's funny stuff. It's great when a company has enough of a sense of humor to make something like this for internal consumption and then let it slip to the outside because it's so cool. (Or enough marketing savvy to pretend to...)
