Okay, look: I'm going to take these guys exactly as seriously as I take the people who say that Katrina could have been averted if only we'd signed Kyoto.
There will always be crazies, apparently, and there will always be people who like to stare at the crazies and shriek in terror so they can convince themselves that they're both morally superior and persecuted to within an inch of their lives. I don't mind saying that I find the very domain name of this "news" site every bit as offensive as the stuff they're gesticulating at. Elitism coupled with hysterical paranoia is a dangerous cocktail.
UPDATE: Don't even look at LGF's collection of posts from today and yesterday. I'm sorry I did.
I can't believe I share a planet with some people, let alone a country.
And I don't understand how Charles can keep from going mad from all this.
