So exactly what the hell do we do when this starts happening?

So, while the city's plumbers, electricians, landscapers, and other contractors are patching drywall holes, fixing leaks, and sweeping up the last remnants of the old occupants, getting it ready for you to move in, you—what? What do you do?
You go in and shoot them.
Well, obviously.
