08:47 - It tastes like burning

Whoa. Tacos at Midnight flavored Doritos.
All hail Western Civilization.
They even taste very authentically of the advertised flavor. Though I'm sure that's an effect of some psychological need for confirmation. "Oh yeah! I can totally taste the baked-on crust on the grill and the 23-hour-old fryer oil!"
What I find amusing is thinking through the thought process of who would buy these. Drunken frat-boys on their way back to the dorm late at night? No—my feeling is that these kinds of characters would, you know, actually get tacos at midnight. It's not like they'd wake up at 9:30, splash away their hangover, and think, Damn, I could sure go for some more of those tacos we had last night. Too bad they just don't taste the same early in the day!
And then his buddy bursts in: Dude! You'll never guess what I just picked up at the student union! We'll never have to go out at night again!
Mm... no. There's probably a different target market in mind.
Like, say, tech nerds who will buy them with lunch because it's just so damn weird, y'know, and maybe I can write a blog post about it.
